HAND-STRETCHED,
HAND-TOPPED PIZZA

A pizza fit for a king

Margherita produces frozen pizzas under the “Re Pomodoro” brand distributed in Italy and abroad. The pizzas are processed using genuine artisan methods: the stretching of the dough and the topping of the pizzas are both carried out exclusively by hand by our expert pizza chefs. This is the only way of ensuring that the molecular structure of the dough does not undergo the trauma of an automated production process, thus enabling us to guarantee extremely high quality standards.

Wholesome, fragrant and tasty ingredients

Choosing the right pizza ingredients is an exercise in precision. And above all taste. From the flour to the yeast and all of the toppings: every component of our pizzas is carefully selected, compared with others of the same type and tested. Quality is non-negotiable, clean and delicious flavours are a must.
Only extra-virgin olive oil:
the only excellent oil used for our pizzas.
Pure cow milk mozzarella
carefully selected from among those that use real milk.
Flours made from select wheat
that combines perfectly with the purest water and yeast.

Our sourdough

To the blend of Italian flour and semolina ground using the traditional techniques adopted in the Prealps we add the pure, pristine water of the Dolomites and our sourdough. Our sourdough contains no artificial additives and preservatives and is highly digestible, facilitating the improved absorption of its nutritious substances.

How to prepare the pizza

In the oven

Remove all packaging and leave the pizza to defrost for at least 15 minutes. Cook on the middle shelf of an electric oven at 220 °C for 8-10 minutes. If you use a fan oven cook at 200 °C for 6-8 minutes, once again placing the pizza on the middle shelf. Finally, if you are using a gas oven place the pizza on the top shelf and cook at 220 °C for 8-10 minutes. When the mozzarella is nicely melted the pizza is ready. Always remember to preheat the oven and to not use the microwave.

In a pan

Leave the pizza to defrost for at least 15 minutes and in the meantime heat up a non-stick pan until it is nice and hot. When it is hot put the pizza in, cover, and turn the heat right down. Cook for 5-6 minutes, until the mozzarella begins to bubble. All that’s left to do is slice it up, serve and enjoy!
